The food from the restruants was very good, the facilities were nice, and the staff was always very friendly! i used to work at the hyatt regency in seattle, and my old bosses would always stress how important it is to take care of the guests, so that they could feel at home while being away from home. the employees at the hilton hiroshima did a great job with this, by the end of my stay, i wanted to stay longer!

Miyajima Guesthouse Mikuniya is a traditional Japanese-style guesthouse located on Miyajima (Itsukushima). miku the cat! haha but really, the tatami room was lovely.

Breakfast was very good. I enjoyed local foods. A variety of Japanese cuisines are available, and all of them taste good. Although the hotel is located near the airport, I had no noise in the room. It is very quiet.

A 3-minute stroll from Itsukushima Shrine, Miyajima Grand Hotel Arimoto boasts an outdoor hot spring bath. It offers luxurious Japanese-style and Western rooms and a free shuttle from Miyajima Pier. Amazing mountain view from the bedroom. The traditional Japanese Dinner and Breakfast were very delicious.

Inside the station, spacious, well laid out and newly decorated corner room with great view. Staff were very friendly, helpful, fluent in English. LOVED the non-slip tub and support bars having had recent leg surgery. Huge tv, lots of nearby restaurants

The rooms look out onto the water and it is very serene. Bathrooms were shared but were extremely clean and felt private (full cabins for toilets and showers).

We booked two rooms for our family of four. We were pleasantly surprised how spacious they were, and the air conditioning worked perfectly. The host was incredibly kind, he suggested the best places to eat and buy locally produced lemon pastries, and when we were leaving, he brought his cat, Tiger, and waved goodbye to us. As we were on a three-day bike trip and only had our small backpacks with us, we loved the fact that everything was provided: shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, tooth brushes, toothpaste, mouth wash, etc. In each room there were even a couple of bottles of water and everything for making tea and coffee. In the common spaces there was a microwave, guidebooks, manga books, and a wall full of Toso Maps of the Shimanami Kaido trail. We will definitely book Bed&Cafe Onzo again next time we bike the Shimanami Kaido!

It's such a pretty location. After a lot of hectic cities, we came to a full relaxation after the complimentary footbaths, private onsen, 5 course dinner specially adjusted for my pregnant wife. Looking out to sea from the room, a tiny tori gate in the distance. It was like heaven.
