EcoFunco is absolutely amazing! Lea and Joao are wonderful hosts, present from even before setting foot on the island. They helped us with transportation from and to the airport, they found us a guide to hike the volcano (Joao also is a guide) and gave us tips on things to do and trails to walk while on the island. The breakfast is excellent, abundant and varied. And they arrange it for you no matter what time you want it. The room is spacious and clean. The bed is comfortable. The whole place is peaceful and quiet and the views are simply breathtaking. If we ever go back to Fogo, we will definitely stay with Lea and Joao again!!

After a long tour of Cabo Verde, it good to relax in the high of Fogo. Swimming pool, nice campaign around. Very peace full. Very comfortable bed. Nice and cool place. Efficient team. Thank u every body.

The place is very well set up and the owners are kind and helpful people. It's a family operation with lots of experience in hospitality. The rooms are clean and functional. The meals were nice too. We would definitely stay here again.

Ciza e Rose se nachází v destinaci Portela a nabízí zahradu, sdílený lounge, terasu a výhled na město. Na místě je k dispozici soukromé parkoviště. Některé ubytovací jednotky mají balkon a/nebo patio.... Of course, the Guesthouse is not comparable to a 3Stars hotel but when you come to this kind of place, Ciza e Rose is exactly the kind of Guesthouse you expect! Rose was born here, he is the right man at the right place and his family is very nice. Rose can speak many languages, including french. The rooms are simple but have all you need. They are big, quiet and all around a patio. Board games are available and we could play Awale and learn a new way to play with Michael, the son. The breakfast was really good and a bit different each day, with cakes... We got a lot of explanations from Rose, who is also a guide if you need. Communication was really easy with them, even before arriving. A "collectivos" picked us up at the airport and Rose organized another one to drop us to Sao Filipe. We eat at the Guesthouse in the evenings. At midday, we went several times to Isabel Restaurant ( actually Isabel is Rose's sister but we didn't know it the first time!). By the way, Rose has 6 brothers/sisters at Portela.

I have stayed here twice and really enjoyed it. The views from the public terrace of Sao Filipe are stunning. I stayed in the luxury room 10 two nights and it was so beautiful with a very high ceiling, a full two door window that opens to purple bougainvillea and the same gorgeous view as the terrace. The bed was one of the most comfortable I have tried in my life, firm but still soft. The workers are nice and helpful if you need any help planning a trip to the volcano, etc. The owner is generous and kind and the atmosphere among the staff is comfortable. Breakfast is a fancy version of a typical Cabo Verde breakfast: white bread, boiled eggs, guava jelly, Fogo traditional cheese, papaya, etc. The location is in the heart of Sao Filipe and walking distance to all the restaurants and the black beach.

Casa alcindo se nachází v Chã das Caldeiras a nabízí bar. K dispozici je nepřetržitě otevřená recepce a restaurace. Výhled směřuje na hory. Všechny pokoje v tomto bed and breakfast mají šatní skříň. Amazing stay. Alcindo and Leticia did everything that they could to make our stay memorable. We are thankful for their generosity, time and general love of the good things in life. We thoroughly recommend doing the hike with a guide !

Katya is very welcoming, cooks very (very very) well and takes care of her client like no one did in Cap Verde. We have spent 2 weeks in Cabo Verde and haven’t met anyone that kind, welcoming and helpful. The place is also amazing. Out of nowhere, facing the sea, natural swimming pool… you name it! Katya also offers a few options to discover Fogo island like pico de fogo.

Casa Adriano & Filomena se nachází v destinaci Portela a nabízí bar. Tento bed and breakfast nabízí neplacené soukromé parkoviště a sdílenou kuchyň. Adriano and Filomena welcomed our group of 4 people in their house. The place was perfect for us: great location, wonderfull view on the caldeira and on the volcano, quality of the staff, size of the room, good food made by them. They have done everything to feel at home. Take time to discuss with Adriano, he has many stories to tell you about the caldeira and about Fogo. Thanks Adriano and Filomena for these days on another planet !

Pensao Zé Doce se nachází v destinaci Portela a nabízí bar. Tento bed and breakfast poskytuje zahradu, neplacené soukromé parkoviště a možnost vlastního stravování. Koupelna je vybavená sprchou. Villages on the lava field in caldera is incredible. Jose is super host. He organize pick up, cooking, tours around island. They brothers are very good gidės to climb to volcano. My big thanks to Felix. I would reccomend to stay there min. 2 nights.

Pipi's Guest House se nachází v destinaci São Filipe a poskytuje bezplatné Wi-Fi, zahradu, terasu a bar. Pláž Playa Sao Filipe se nachází 2,4 km od ubytování Pipi's Guest House. A wonderful stay at Pipi's. A lovely place with a higher standard than your usual small B&Bs. Sparkling clean, peaceful and green, a great place to relax after long days of sightseeing. Breakfast is fantastic and Pipi can also cook dinner if you ask - I ended up eating there almost every day as the food was excellent and I really enjoyed the little bar under banana trees with an ocean view. Pipi and her husband are very warm and welcoming people and it is a real treat to stay at their beautiful home. It is located about 10min walk from the airport and 20min walk from town and if you don't fancy the walk, a taxi from town is under 2€. I stayed for 4 nights and absolutely loved it there!
