The place located greenery area beside the river. Inside onsen is unique point of this accommodation. The onsen separate men and women. There were indoor and outdoor of living room. Kitchen always keeps clean here. Washing machine and dryer was provided inside the place. This accommodation concerns environment . The lady staff demonstrated information clearly with her friendly mind. I would like to say thank for her assistance. The place was clean and comfortable. You can walk for 7 mins to the rope bridge where cross over the beautiful river, waterfall and view point of Kinugawa. From Nikko, you can take local train with 1 changing station but during train journey is very amazing view beside the railway.

This was an amazing place and perhaps the highlight of our whole 3 weeks in Japan. We had a villa for four and it was amazing. The private Onsen and sauna really was the icing on the cake. The villa was well equipped, spacious and modern. There were so many high-tech gadgets I didn't really know what some of them were! The welcome drinks in the fridge were especially kind. There is a bus just before the 10:00 a.m. checkout time down to the station in Nikko which was great. Location a little bit out of town but that didn't bother us and it was a nice 15-minute walk.

It was the best sleep in 5 weeks in Japan, the outdoors private thermal bath was excellent, the food was beautiful, they accomadated me being vegetarian. The onsens were great, outdoor ones being hotter than indoors. The national park it's in is beautiful. The staff are amazing, just delightful.

Established in 1666, Honke Bankyu is housed in a registered historical building. The Japanese rooms feature traditional decor, futon bedding and a flat-screen TV. A wonderfully authentic traditional ryokan with spacious, comfortable rooms and beautiful river views. The public onsen was perfect—hot, clean, and peaceful with great natural scenery. Dinner was a delightful kaiseki experience with impressive presentation and thoughtful local dishes. The staff were warm, professional, and attentive, making the stay truly special. The setting with a charming rope suspension bridge adds to the unique atmosphere. A perfect getaway for onsen lovers seeking relaxation with excellent hospitality. Highly recommended. This peaceful, elegant place offers an unforgettable Japanese experience

Just a 15-minute walk from the Nikko Toshogu Shrine, Nikko Hoshino Yado features natural hot-spring baths with Japanese garden views, traditional kaiseki (multi-course) cuisine and Japanese-style... EVERYTHING! I absolutely loved the place. The room was so nice, packed with great small treatments, the view from the room was breathtaking. You can go to the public onsen as much as you like, and I even rented the private onsen, and it was just what I needed. The private onsen was so good, needless to say it was tidy clean, the atmosphere was amazing, I absolutely loved it!

Asi 20 minut chůze od svatyně Nikko, Annex Turtle Hotori- An se nachází vedle řeky Daiya a zelených lesů. Nabízí termální lázně s výhledem na řeku. It was a pleasure to stay in this lovely, cozy and quiet Japanese house. The host was super polite and friendly.
