Located of Highway 101, this Mesa motel offers guest rooms with cable TV. Arizona State University is 8 minutes’ drive away and a light rail system is 3 blocks away. I liked that no breakfast is offered. Motel breakfasts are generally a tedious, mediocre affair. Glad to not have the expense added. The kitchen in the room is more than adequate for a person to do their own breakfast.

Downtown Phoenix Hotel provides Direct TV with over 120 high-definition channels and sports packages. Phoenix Convention Center is 1 km from the property. The location was excellent, an easy walk to downtown and given it was on a busy road it was reasonably quiet. The couple who managed the place were exceptional, going out of their way to help and advise especially when we were jet lagged. When we had a major issue they were very supportive, giving us practical advice and help. The bed was comfy and the room was very clean. It essentially is a motel type set up but with daily room servicing - it wasn’t flash but great value and close to an excellent Brewery for evening meals. The location is also good for public transport - 7 minute walk to the ‘metro’ station. Also, we had to check in late in the night and we didy had any issues. The receptionists were very kind.
