They were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and went above and beyond to ensure my visit was perfect. The delicious breakfast set me up for long, busy days, and their kindness truly made my stay unforgettable. The convenience of transport to and from the airport was an added bonus. I can’t recommend this place enough for anyone looking for genuine warmth and comfort during their trip to Napier.

My wife, Graham, and I visited the Te Mata Lodge while in town for a wedding. From the moment we arrived we felt comfortable and relaxed. The parking lot was one to behold, as was the room itself. I promptly ran myself a bubble bath while my wife, Gavin, watched Tik Tok videos on her electric telephone, using the complimentary Wifi provided by our hosts. Highly recommend this lodging for all. I would rate this 20 out of 10 if I could.

Surrounded by restaurants and cafes in Napier city centre, Motel de la Mer offers ocean-facing suites with a fully equipped kitchen. Some rooms have a balcony with ocean and city views. Location and staff were amazing highly recommended 👌

The property was a stone throw away from the centre of town so the location is perfect. The villa was absolutely gorgeous, exceptionally clean and fabulously designed. Beds were a highlight, so comfy after a long day of exploring. Hosts were a delight too. Fantastic place.

A truly exceptional place – beautiful, well appointed and spacious, perfect for sharing with another family! The kids played hide-and-seek for hours :) The views are incredible and it's close to town, but obviously high up on the hill, which means the climb back is quite tough (a great leg workout!). There are TVs and bathrooms galore and the fridge is smarter than a lesser laptop.

The property exceeded my expectations. It felt homely yet very luxurious, and decorated beautifully. The bed was super comfy, and the shower was amazing after a long day. Kelly was a great communicator & I would definitely recommend the property to any of my friends or family. Loved that there was milk in the fridge & bikkies/tea/coffee to add that homely touch. A++
