The host, Johan, was really nice and hospitable and the location itself was lovely as it was remote and allowed us to gaze up at the aurora without light pollution getting in the way. Unfortunately I believe those were the only two reasons I was not entirely disappointed with my choice.

Our room was clean and very comfortable and had everything we needed. .Breakfast was served daily and offered a variety of foods. The ladies that worked in the reception were so nice and accommodating.

Cabins were very clean, warm, nice and had everything we needed. Sauna was amazing. Stefan was very helpful and responsive. You can take tours and get transfers right from the camp. Stefan is very knowledgeable and helpful. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend!

Surrounded by forest, Aurora Camp Kurravaara is right by the Torne River, 13 km from Kiruna Airport. Facilities include a sauna and a furnished terrace. Aurora Camp is such an authentic place, one of a kind. There were many activities to choose from, but our focus was the chance of seeing the Northern Lights. That's why we chose the Panorama Cabin and we were lucky enough to experience the lights two night in a row from the conform and warmth of our bed.
