The room was comfortable and clean and they went out of the way to make sure we were warm and cozy…heater in the room, hot water for tea, hot water bottles to warm the beds, and tons of blankets. They transported us wherever we needed to go and made arrangements for our tour to Taquile. The food was yummy and the bed was comfortable. We even had a shower with hot water! I would highly recommend them for a stay on Uros!

It was my dream to live on the floating islands of Lake Titicaca. Walter and his family's lodge is one of the best places to live comfortably and observe the real life of the Uros people. I was worried that it would be cold. but the living conditions pleasantly surprised me - hot water, a large bed with duvets, huge windows through which the sun heats the room during the day and gas heaters for the evening. Walter's mother cooked delicious, fresh and healthy food for us. Walter took us on a boat ride every day and helped organize all the excursions. To work online, we needed the Internet, and in this part of the lake the mobile signal is strong enough to work. Because on the islands that are farther from the coast, the Internet connection is weak. Great experience!

Relaxing on the sun bed and watching the lake. Dinner and breakfast were brought to the lodge. The hosts were amazing. They took me on a trip around the islands in the afternoon, much quieter than the busy touristy mornings. Amazing!

Titicaca Aruntawi Lodge Peru se nachází v Punu a nabízí ubytování s výhledem na jezero a každodenní snídani. Hotel stojí přímo u jezera Titicaca, 7 km od centra města. The rooms had a beautiful view of the lake and nearby green mountain. The beds were comfortable with an outdoor deck day bed as well. The night was cold, but plenty of blankets kept us warm. The food was fresh and tasty and each family member contributed to our wonderful stay. Transportation was arranged by the host from our hostal by taxi to the port and then a boat took us for a short ride to the hotel within Uros Island.
