Příště bychom se ubytovali znova a na delší dobu. Do města jsme šli pešky večer a nebylo to daleko. Recepční nám poskytla vyčerpávající informace. Dala nám mapku a vysvětlila několik možností, co Monteverde nabízí. Pokoj byl velmi čistý a prostorný.

When I realized where I was, just the location exceed all expectations! The host/owner was there to give a really warm welcome and he was so friendly and involve that I felt that this place has a sold!

Highly recommend this ''Little escape". Mike is a great host, super responsive and kind. The apartment is comfortable and stylish. Swimming pool is relaxing. We travelled with our baby and dog : it took us no time to fully embrace the lifestyle of little escape / Santa Teresa. Go for it!

Cabinas Costa Tropicana nabízí venkovní bazén, zahradu a ubytování s klimatizací, terasou a bezplatným Wi-Fi. Alturas Wildlife Sanctuary se nachází 12 km odtud. The cottage was a real suprise! Everything worked well, was very clean, a lot od space, super shower, everything in the kitchen for cooking, huge refrigirator. You sleep in the jungle, we saw some animals. The owner from Netherland was super nice.

Private jungle “Loft del Rio” river access se nachází v destinaci Uvita a nabízí zahradu, terasu, vybavení pro vodní sporty a ubytování s bezplatným Wi-Fi a výhledem na hory. This was exactly what I was looking for. Something deeper in the jungle yet close to Uvita and the coast. Just the peace and quiet and closeness to Nature I needed. And the cabin has no glass windows, just screens, so you can hear the music of the jungle very clearly. Nights were spectacular. I loved falling asleep to the symphony of the the surrounding wilderness and waking up to the sounds of roosters and howler monkeys (: The property has access to a river and mini waterfall which was very tranquil and serene. The drive to the cabin was a fun little adventure in itself and 4x4 is recommended. The hill that leads down to the cabin is ultra steep but you have the option to park atop the hill and walk down which is a short jaunt. The host, Wouter, was amazingly attentive, personable, and chill. He would always respond to my questions/ messages quickly. You could not ask for a better host. I can recommend Loft del Rio with total confidence and rate it a perfect 10. If you are looking to experience an immersive jungle experience that is also close to the coast, this is it.

Closer enough to walk to down town, quaint setting, quality decorations and kitchenware. The proprietor of friendly and helpful. It was such a fun experience to stay at Jungle Living Tree Houses.

Finca Terra Viva was marvelous! The property was spectacular, nestled in a valley and spanning up the hills on either side. It’s close enough to town that we were comfortable driving back and forth after dark, and far enough away that we didn’t have any of the light or noise (what little of it Santa Elena generates). Gaudy was warm and welcoming, offered excellent t recommendations, and is so committed to sustainable practices. It was just gorgeous - stunning and serene. We walked the trails, followed the birds, and fed 2-day-old calves! It is a working farm, and we woke with the sun (and cows and roosters) each day, but loved it. Some of the transport for local attractions will pick you up there, and others will ask you to meet them at a nearby intersection. Between the views, the air, the location, and the comfort of the casitas, we hated to leave.

The setting was easy to access on the road into town. The grounds were spectacular with mountain vistas, fresh ponds, and incredible landscaping. The staff was friendly and welcoming and made us feel so comfortable. Dinner and breakfast were beyond words in terms of choices and level of culinary creativity and experience. Absolutely delicious and beautifully presented on our patio in a jungle setting. Everything we experienced was at a heightened sense of creativity, and honoring Monteverde’s beauty with love.
