IrelandBeautiful location. Quite, yet beautiful 20 minutes shoreline walk to Bled. One of the nicest restaurants in the area, with superb fine dining. Breakfast was equally as good. One of the nicest ever hotels I have stayed in. Very recommended

AlbaniaThe hotel was a gem, situated in a tranquil and green area. The view from my balcony (room 15) was amazing, surpassing the lake view. The facilities were excellent, and the room, including the bathroom, was clean and spacious. The owner and both receptionists were incredibly supportive, making your stay feel like home.

AustraliaThe most sensational location.  Amazing view. whilst our room didn’t have a balcony, it did have lake views and there was a small balcony for guests that we had access to on our floor.  Room was very beautifully decorated, sleek and modern. Hotel parking was inexpensive and very convenient.

Do bear in mind the following two things: 1) you have to buy a ticket online in advance, you can't do it at the ticket office 2) the walk through the gorge is easy and doable, but the way back, across the gorge, is a pretty tough hike.Guest review byNielsNetherlands - 6.0
Very nice walk and great views.
Very nice walk and great views. The only thing that is disappointing is that you cannot get close to the water, put your hands/feet there. Just made a similar route in Germany, at Almbachklamm and marble ball mill (Berchtesgaden) and you can walk in the water, play with rocks , create your own damns (which is great for kids). Incredible nature, though your visit will greatly depend on weather, season, day of the week and the actual time of arrival. most of the trip follows a narrow path along the gorge and river, so the less people the more you get to enjoy nature and not stand in line for the next selfie spot. the way back to the parking lot is quite long and is actually harder than the actual path of the park.Guest review bynotsureeIsrael - 10.0

Beautiful! Although it is not far from Lake Bled, we got lost in the middle of our drive there. Our car's navigation system did not work. You should use Google map instead or ask locals before you leave for Vintgar Gorge. Regarding parking, the official site was not updated. There were at least three parking sites available. You should decide which one is best considering which route you take for return. If you want to dive into cold and crisp water at the end of Gorge, bring a swim suite. We took the longest route for return. Although it took longer, we enjoyed it, watching peaceful animals (goats, cows, sheep) and sounds of (cow) bells.Guest review byOkaUnited States - 10.0

The gorge is an absolute must if your going to bled but just be warned the walk along the gorge is a one way trip along the gorge .the walk back takes longer but you can get a shuttle back it you wish I think it was q0 Eurostar per person. Vintgar Gorge was 7 minutes walk, but we could also take a walk to a local restaurant. Our apartment was clean, huge, with a very comfortable bed. It was hard to go outside it was so amazing inside. The staff was amazingly nice, communication was super smooth. The apartments have all we needed and astonihing views of the surrounding mountains. Very close to Bled (40min walking). The owner leaves free bikes too. Very close to the Vintgar Gorge - car is no needed, the route can be started from the apartment. Very friendly owner, she was extremely kind with our children. Free parking inside. Lovely mountain meadow view, parking right outside the apartment. I strongly recommend Gostlina Kurej down the road for dinner, huge portions of Slovenian cuisine. We were very pleased not to be in the hustle and bustle of Bled itself. The couple (hosts) were super helpful, they also gave us info about our surroundings/how to move around and tips. They also provided free bikes (very useful to go buy breakfast every morning at the supermarket). We also had a nice area outside where we ate our breakfast while looking at the horses (our neighbourhoods). The apartment itself was nice, comfy and clean! There is a convenient free local bus just outside the apartment that runs three times per day to Lake Bled. Vintgar gorge is about 20 minutes walk away. There is a shop about five minutes walk away. The views are stunning. The owner Danica, is very hospitable and kind. She cooked us beautiful apple pie and pancakes. The accommodation is very clean and the beds are very comfortable.
