The location, the view from our room, the room and the breakfast buffet were really good.

Staff is very helpful and can arrange various activities including safari and airport transfer even if your flight is in the middle of the night. Hotel rooms have beautiful view on the surrounding hills

It was so much more than I could ever expect. The rooms are one of a kind, private, tasteful with a stunning view over Ihema lake. The staff at Ihema was so sweet and kind.

It provided a perfect backdrop for relaxation after our safari excursions. The lodge also organized our transport from Rwanda to my home village in Tanzania, which was handled flawlessly. Overall, Akagera Transit Lodge offers a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience, and we highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

The view it is amazing, the tents are very good organized and the staff is very nice, it was a wonderful experience.
