I keep coming back to this hotel. I love the friendliness of the staff coming back there, you get a warm welcome hug and some of the staff knows you by name (of course I was talking to them at my first stay). The garden is an oasis, the team does everything to make you feel good and relaxed. Even when travelling for work, it feels like a little vacation. The renovation of the house is done perfectly. One can feel that the owner put a lot of heart into the details. Bravo Chris, well done! As. breakfast recommendation: one of the best shakshukas I have ever had!

    Arrive early to the park with plenty of water!

    Arrive early to the park with plenty of water! It is a short walk from the administrative building where you pay your fee and take a picture of the map. Short walk then to the ranger station the left fork is steep to the mirador view, the right fork is a wide road path that still ascends but much easier if you are not in good shape. We were excited to see a white nose coati, monkeys and a sloth. Good first morning in PTY

    A great break from the city.

    A great break from the city. An easy hike through the jungle. I am 80 and had no trouble walking the entire trail system in sandals. Sadly no animals seen but a wonderful chorus of birdsong throughout.
