It's an amazing hidden gem close to and far away from civilization at the same time. It's a quiet place during off-(wedding)-season (as the whole place of recreation specializes in weddings). Thoughtfully and carefully decorated rooms. Delicious breakfast, and discreet, friendly, caring service. It's more than value for money.

    The room was large and comfortable in an exceptionally clean and modern hotel. The staff were all really helpful and friendly. The breakfast was delicious with lots of variety. Coffee and tea etc were available all the time in the lobby. The hotel was 10-15 mins walk from the train/bus station, just a few minutes from some restaurants (I really liked Kaku Maja) and also close to the Sigulda Castle complex. It was also possible to walk to Gutman's cave and Turaida Castle although they were further away (I got the bus back).

    While the guest house is 2 km outside town , it is very handy for Turaida castle, Krimulda castle and the cable car.

    Great location for cycling and walking. We cycled with MTBs the Sigulda classic route (12km) with the children and added a visit to Turaida castle. Can recommend! Simple accommodation in lovely surroundings and nature. Refreshing water in the small pond for dipping and swimming after cycling.
