after having travelled so much of the world , this was by far one of the most beautiful places i chose . the cofirmation on this site by the resort , was accompanied by photographs , which were the exact representation of the room and surrounding facilities . the villa given to me was exquisite . beautifully designed and very comfortable . the staff is very effecient -is there for you all the time , working really hard to make your stay perfect , the food is worth a mention - i mostly chose salads which were made and presented beautifully . their help with the taxi and tuk tuk - both excellent drivers . the help given my Mr Pren and Mr Sna is perhaps one the warmest i have ever had from any staff , anywhere . if i could , i would go again . the resort is situated not very far from the Angkor Vat temple . and Pub street , where shopping is nice for local things .

The property is more like a home stay rather than a hotel as the service, atmosphere and surroundings are like being a special guest in a beautiful house rather than a hotel guest. The attention to detail in the decoration, art, local crafts and styling in the property are exceptional. It is in the centre of a traditional village with some of the staff living around the village. The property is in the centre of rural life and the neighbours cows, chickens, rice fields, mango and tamarind trees all add to the relaxing feel of the place. The staff are lovely. Providing discreet professional service with a big smile. The chef Jin is fantastic. The rooms are very clean, spacious and perfect for our 5 night stay. The pool area is great after excursions. The resident TukTuk driver provided all our sightseeing needs at Angkor Wat and Tonle Sap lake nearby. The NGO connection to the owners provides welcome support to local housing, employment and education.

The best place to stay in Siem Reap if you want to relax away from the city center's huss & buzz in a lovely village area! The personnel was extremely helpful, friendly and warm-hearted so we felt more like at home than in a hotel. They picked us up from the nearby bus station and helped us get tuk-tuk's for temple visits. The rooms are very big and comfy and the pool area is luxurious. There is a local market, small beverage shops and a family laundry within easy walking distance. We were so pleased with our stay that we booked one extra night on the spot.

    Beng Mealea is quite the drive away from the city, which lets a tourist see the country side and have a conversation with the tour guide that isn’t about a specific temple aspect. The temple itself is in a ruined form, which I liked and enjoyed very much; that was the experience I desired to have and I feel I have accomplished it. Beng Mealea, the temple of the lotus pond, is the only temple where I found the space to meditate in peace away from the hordes of tourists. I highly recommend th the time to visit it.
