Everything about Jannat House was awesome. The pool was so nice to cool off in the HOT Lamu climate. Honestly, I dont think we could have survived the heat without the pool. The service was amazing. We felt so welcomed. Like a home away from home. The chef provided an impromptu cooking class to show up how to cook the fish we caught. Carol provided good advice and has a reputation for being a good, honest, and caring manager. There are alot of areas to lounge in the shade. Its quiet but close to everything. When we come back to Lamu, this is the only place we will stay due to our warm, lovely experience. THANK YOU!!

Our quiet room and private terrace at the back of the hotel overlooked charming rooftops, with dhows on the sea in the distance. The view on the rooftop for breakfast was fantastic. Delicious fresh fruit for breakfast every day. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly.

The staff, the rooms and cosy corners, being able to use all the upstairs living areas, the breakfasts and the way the staff cared for us.

We were picked from the airport by Safari which was extremely helpful, otherwise we would have never found the accommodation :D We were very much welcomed with some wet towers and coconut water, great after a flight on a warm weather. Everyone was extremely nice and I loved the culture of the house, we needed to wash some cloths and no money was asked, they gave us lot of recommendations and the best part: even with a short notice asking for dinner in the accommodation for that night, we had the best meal in Kenya and the best fish ever!! Please reserve at least one meal there!
