Security was good since there is a 24/7 Police presence and Police station directly opposite the hostel. Breakfast was ok and filling. Staff were friendly for the most part and accommodating under the circumstances. Internet was good and was able to get access throughout the hostel and could even stream movies on Netflix. The host, Moshe and his family are very kind and helpful. Moshe booked me a taxi to come inside old city to pick us up to the airport with a very good price. The location was great for exploring the old city, and we loved walking along the Mount of Olives to access the historic centre. Being just a 10-15 walk from the Garden of Gethsemane, Tomb of the Virgin Mary and a little further to the Temple Mount was ideal.
