This has been my favourite stay in Guatemala. The space is extremely conducive to relaxation and gentle socialising. The wifi doesn't really work, but I think that's what makes this place special (if you really need wifi you can ask or kayak to a nearby restaurant - which also has great cerviche). Lots of time spent doing yoga, swimming, sitting in hammocks, playing cards and eating as a family. The staff are incredible (thanks Tim) and the vegetarian food served is amazing with large portions. Definitely recommend getting the massage too. I can't wait to come back

The property is so nicely done, very comfortable from the moment you arrive. You feel at home here because of the two wonderful hosts that will show you around the area, organise transfers and provide great food! Also the facilities and decor have been done very beautifully so that you can just hang out in your bungalow and enjoy the quiet. There is big enough and clean room with nice moutain views balcony. Also there is shared kitchen can be used. Very warm and helpful host. It is located Santo Tomas de castile, easy to take a taxi ( 30 GTQ ) or chicken bus( 3GTQ) from puerto Barrios center. Recommend to take couple days to chill out. There is walkable to beach and waterfall. The accommodation fee all goes to charity.

The bed was comfortable - always the most important thing for me! We had a lovely room by the pool - and as all the other customers seemed to be business men, we had the pool to ourselves, The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent with a lot of different options. We often travel for work between Guatemala City and Tegucicalpa and have tried various hotels along the route in the past. It felt very safe and secure. This was absolutely the best place we've stayed and will definitely use it again when we're travelling that way.
