The location of the hotel is very good, the surrounding is very quiet, and the front desk staff is also very friendly. Although there are few choices for breakfast, the orange juice is delicious. The room is clean and the bed is very comfortable.

Eiffel Tower

It doesn’t get much more romantic than gazing out across the city of love with your favourite person in the world. Maybe that’s the reason why hundreds of people drop down on one knee at the top of the tower each year. The dizzying heights and stunning views alone are enough to give anyone butterflies, but a meal at the magical ‘Le Jules Verne’ restaurant might just seal the deal.

I would recommend visiting the Eiffel Tower for its iconic status and breathtaking views of Paris. Standing at 1,083 feet, it offers stunning panoramic sights from its observation decks. You can take the elevator or climb the stairs for a more adventurous experience. The surrounding Champ de Mars park is perfect for a picnic, and the tower is beautifully illuminated at night, making it a romantic spot. Whether you choose to go up or admire it from below, the Eiffel Tower is a must-see landmark.

I didn't go up because I have done that before but it is worth while to go to the base and see just how enormous this structure is. The base is a block apart. Great park where the tower is and lot's of nice eateries around here as well.

We were happy just going to the tower and not going up in it. There are several other places around town to get good views of Paris. Check out the night view of the tower from the Trocodero. Be aware that the metro gets extremely crowded with people viewing the tower at night and you may have to wait for a few trains to get a spot.

What an amazing structure .. we did a skip the line tour , which was fine. Save your money , don’t buy the tiny plastic flute of champagne at the top. And don’t buy anything in the gift shop…everything is way overpriced. We bought a fridge magnet of the tower from a street seller …just a block away and paid 2 euro for the exact same thing that sells in the Eiffel Tower gift shop for 8 e

More ladies bathroom and less lady who cares for the bathroom nicer, Person closed the bathroom with out explanation and told everyone to go to exit 2 which meant we had to go out of the grounds and get back in line to come in again. However, the elevator management were helpful and polite. Thank you

Plan weeks ahead, buy tickets online, be ready for long lines - but rest assured, it's all worth the views. Summit may be closed at any time, so just know that you may be limited to seeing Paris from the 2nd floor (and note that it's pretty windy there). Ignore the peddlers selling you small Eiffel towers as well as the ladies attempting to make you sign some made up petitions (as a prelude for asking for a 'donation').

We really enjoyed our stay at First Hotel Paris. The breakfasts were delicious and offered a good variety. The rooms were cozy, clean, and thoughtfully arranged. Special thanks for taking into account our request and providing a room with a view of the Eiffel Tower — it truly became one of the highlights of our trip. We were very pleased with everything.

The hotel was a 10 minute walk to the Eiffel Tower, 5 minutes walk to Rue Cler (a nice road with lots of cafeterias/restaurants) and an 8 minute walk to the nearest underground station which made it well connected to the rest of central Paris. It was clean and spacious enough. Staff were nice and helpful.

The apartment is located in the heart of Paris, with many major attractions less than an hour away. The Eiffel Tower and the Alexandre III Bridge are easily accessible. However, if you are sensitive to noise, please note that it is extremely loud at night. There are many restaurants just below the building, and they are busy until around 3 a.m. After that, the cleaning begins, and then the garbage truck arrives to collect the trash. It can be very, very noisy, and you may find it impossible to sleep at night.

A new area of Paris to explore and loved the 15th Arr. (Parc André-Citroën was wonderful) the hotel was easy walking distance to three metro stations and plenty of bus stops and Javel R station nearby to explore Paris. The hotel had a wonderful view of the top half of the Eiffel Tower, especially at the excellent roof top bar. Room and the hotel in general was very clean and comfortable. Nice private sauna and the pool rooms looked fun (untried)

we had a wonderful stay at this hotel during our visit to Paris. The location is absolutely unbeatable—just a short walk from the Eiffel Tower, which made sightseeing incredibly convenient. The hotel itself is very clean and well-maintained. What stood out the most, however, was the staff. They were exceptionally responsive, friendly, and always willing to help with any request or question. Their professionalism and warm attitude truly enhanced my experience. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Paris

This hotel gets the basics perfect - clean room and bathroom, comfy bed, quite spacious by Parisian standards. The location is terrific. A short walk to the tower, sienne, Hotel Invalides and central to most places. Great connectivity by public transport . Helpful staff, and smiling service. They organised a car from the airport at a nominal extra to the taxi fare, which was appreciated. We had a superior room, with an angled view to the Eiffel Tower which was special. We loved our stay here.

Lovely balcony, perfect for coffee and croissants. We really enjoyed our stay and the host was lovely too. Would definitely come back again.

Location was good, about 10min walk to the Notre Dame. We had 24 hours in Paris, so we walked all the way to the Eiffel Tower and back and saw the highlights from the hotel. It was a good location for us but Paris has easy metro which was close by that you can jump on and off. Located next to restaurants and bars so lots of options.

What guests said about Eiffel Tower:

  • if one goes to the Louvre you acquire headsets.

if one goes to the Louvre you acquire headsets. It is pretty amazing viewing a painting of Napoleon crowning Josephine and the historical significance of this amazing piece of art is explained in the most beautiful artistic voice. Captivating... , not just this one painting the whole museum of priceless treasures. I felt honoured to view this amazing collection. The artifacts are breathtaking. It is amazing riding a double decker bus and wearing a headset. Two trips around the city and you are most familiar with the sights and their historical significance to start your journey. Plaques in doorways and on statue's leave the visitor a good over view of the past. A trip to Versailles again headsets that advise the visitors the past. The streets, the cobblestones the architecture, the open markets and cafe's, the preservation of the past intact is so very amazing to a first time visitor. Paris is exciting! Paris is busy. Paris is steeped in culture and is bigger than life itself. I stood beneath the Eiffel Tower and looked up trying to imagine the past and the men that built this magnificent structure. The residents of Paris make their city come to life. They are proud of their city. Very clean and orderly.

Skip the Louvre & the Champs-Elysees, stroll the Tuilleries and the Latin Quarter instead, & talk to people, but remember you're in THEIR country so learn some basic French (please, thank you, G'day, G'eve, etc.) - you'll find a lot of people who speak English. Use the Metro and the "river taxi" (that's what I call it, anyway). DO enjoy cafe au lait often at outdoor cafes, look at around and up at the old buildings, take your time and soak it all in. Don't waste money on 4 & 5, or even 3 - star hotels & "fancy" restaurants - see where the most French are eating and try those places. But, I'm biased and fluent in the language. One can "do" Paris in 3 days - Musee d'Orsay, Musee Marmottan (Monets!!!), Sacre Coeur, Eiffel Tower & Notre Dame, and if you must, the Arc de Triomphe, but it's not worth the hassle). Skip Versailles, go to Fountainbleau (you can get a R/T ticket at the Metro station (subway, train, bus). Hotel in the Latin Quarter.
