Very convenient location - can easily go to the Goms valley to do cross-country skiing and also go the opposite direction to the Aletsch glacier and most beautiful hikes or downhill skiing. They have a good restaurant onsite and breakfast at the first floor. For daytrips or a longer stay ! The owners are very nice, give you a warm welcome. We have stayed in a family room with bunk beds for the kids and they loved it. Bakery accross the road if you need to buy a lunch pack. We have done the Aletsch Glacier walking trip.
