CanadaPaula was amazing! Very helpful and friendly. The rest of the staff was very good too. Food was great, nice view from the restaurant. Rooms were spacious and comfortable and clean.

The room itself was beautifully furnished which made for a lovely romantic stay. The pools were also great, the moment we arrived after a hot and sticky journey- a dip in the pool was exactly what we needed! The staff were friendly and accommodating. They appeared to make an effort to hold events and create a sociable atmosphere on the hostel which is great. We only stayed for two nights off the back of a long journey and boozy previous week, so were pretty tired and didn’t get involved. Boring us! It is a little out of town, but only a 10-15 minute walk, so something to consider if you want to be central. The host Hugo was very welcoming and easy going! Great value for money for the rooms and the shared kitchen is well equipped. Good aircon in the rooms and a hot and powerful shower. Paula organised a lift from the ferry at Belize City & one over the border to Tikal. We felt that all of the drivers were friendly, professional & responsible. We liked the room, the pool & the site next door, Cahal Pech. The weather wasn’t great so we did the chocolate workshop & the green Iguana tour, both good. Cahal Pech Maya ruins are just next door, so very convenient to visit. The hotel had recently added a pool and is doing some landscaping on their territory, so it should look cosier and more lush in the near future. We had lunch at their restaurant in the building and it was great! The bed was comfy and we found the room to be quiet. Very clean. Warm shower. Location couldn't be better and was within walking distance of restaurants, market, bus station, Iguana Conservation center, and Cahal Pech. Breakfast was a bonus! I have zero complaints.
