The reception, information, room, food and hospitality were all wonderful and the end of the trip was the best!! This is a hotel I would definitely like to come back and teach my acquaintances!! Friendly staffs who are always ready to help out. Good scents in the environment. My family and I stayed here for 4 nights before moving to another hotel. We can say Edge was by far the best hotel we booked. It should pass for a 5 star hotel cos we slept in a 5 star too but we still preferred our stay in Edge. We were traveling with a 7 months infants so we were very skeptical about hotels to book but after several back and forth we are glad to have picked Edge. Close to most attraction places and city center is just 12 mins away less than 15 AED for cab. We picked the buffet breakfast option and don’t regret it. So much food and they kept on adding varieties so you don’t get to eat the same thing everyday.

Room was comfy, spacious and kept tidy. All of the staff were helpful and great! Breakfast delicious with a kitchen order included. In addition, the hotel restaurant served good food also at lunch and dinner time. The location of the hotel is great, close to the airport, and 2min walk from Deira City Center metro station, from where e.g. Burj Khalifa is convenient to reach by metro. The Deira Mall next to has also a huge grocery store and a wide selection of restaurants. Still the area around the hotel is very calm. Complimentary airport shuttle and bus to the Al Mamzar beach were also very nice additions for our stay.

    Definitely worth a visit my suggestion would be take a metro...

    Definitely worth a visit my suggestion would be take a metro to Al Ras Station this means catching a train on the Red line towards Centrepoint however you must change at Burjuman this interchange station between Red and Green lines Al Ras Station in on the Green line but only a couple of stops and then a short walk.

    Hard hearted selfish uneducated uncultured poorly mannered money grabbing sales people in this whole city everywhere you go and gets at its worst in the Gold souk as it’s too many shops selling the same things. I’m guessing the sales and advisers are under immense pressure by their bosses to sell and meet targets without any customer service. There is no such thing as customer service experience in Dubai anywhere in retail sector just an aggressive money grabbing city in terms of shopping experience, one of the worst places in the world for customer service scores which should be a fat 0/10 or minus if possible. Dubai isn’t what it used to be. It’s full of underpaid suffering employees / workers on heavy pressure to grab customers money. The staff think their job is to hard sell and make a customer feel bad for walking in there. Far too aggressive and pushy overpriced rip off place not worth a look let alone a buy! You have to haggle hard but even then you will be ripped off and highly likely to have the worst shopping experience of your life!!

    Very interesting shops in the Gold Souk. Bargain and you will get a lower price to suit your wallet (within reason). Jewellers always make a profit even though they say they don't make any if they settle at your price
