We were able to check in very early after an overnight bus, but because the room wasn't fully ready, we were given a free upgrade! Exceptional customer service, attentive staff and delicious food. It really is a place that feels luxurious, close to the centre of town, in the most beautiful location, without breaking the bank. The road is relatively close, but the noise is not intrusive and has to be expected this close to town, and the rooms are well insulated against the noise.

This is a lovely boutique hotel hidden away on a quiet street that's just a 10-minute walk from Arequipa's centro histórico. The staff were very courteous and helpful, the rooms were very clean and well-maintained, and my favorite part was the gorgeous garden with the spectacular molle tree at the center, with tables and benches to sit around and enjoy the ambiance. The breakfast buffet was fairly good, and the restaurant has a decent a la carte menu as well. Great value for money overall, a hidden gem in Arequipa!

Martha, the owner, was a talented cook preparing all the meals from scratch mostly with local products and never grew tired as a trip guide answering all my questions about life in the country, plants and animals.
