The location is amazing. The facilities in the property are first class. Response from the host was immediate and always helpful. The hottub was the icing on the cake. We also really enjoyed the fact there were some items left in the property for our use. (Salt, sugar coffee etc). So many rentals we stay in put these items in the rubbish bun when they are full. We found lots of these condiments in the presses and were able to cook easily with the provided utensils.

We also love that it is located in such a quaint area with very minimal disturbance from surrounding. We even encountered a reindeer ♥️

We had an absolutely unforgettable stay at Magical Pond in Ruka, Finland, during the Christmas holidays. From the moment we arrived, we were immersed in a magical atmosphere that felt straight out of a fairy tale. The place is truly enchanting, with breathtaking nature and a warm ambiance that immediately charmed us. The hotel, intimate and cozy, offered the perfect setting for enjoying quality family time. Our two-year-old son loved playing in the snow, and the outdoor space, with stunning views of the frozen lake and snowy forests, was perfect for peaceful walks. The owners of the hotel, incredibly kind and welcoming, made a world of difference. They were always available to offer advice and little thoughtful gestures that made our stay even more enjoyable. Their warm hospitality truly made us feel at home, even though we were far away from it. The rooms were very comfortable, perfectly suited to the needs of a family with a young child. We especially appreciated the impeccable cleanliness and the attention to detail. The breakfast was delicious, featuring fresh, local products – a perfect way to start the day with energy. If you’re looking for a peaceful, magical, and authentic place to spend a memorable Christmas holiday, we highly recommend Magical Pond.
