This was our favourite place we stayed in Minas Gerais, and it is because of the brilliant owners and their team. Simply the friendliest and most helpful place we have been in Brazil, with tips on where to go and what to see, an amazing breakfast, beautifully presented, with an option to be served in a stand alone conservatory area or in your room, and an ideal location just outside of Ouro Preto but easy to get into town when you want to. Our children were so looked after and happy, could not ask for more. We'll be back!

The entire staff that worked at Pousada Ouro Preto were incredible kind and helpful. I was able to extent my stay and the staff agreed to hold my luggage after the check out because my bus left at 17h. The view from the pousada, central location, and the amazing staff make staying at Pousada Ouro Preto definitely worth it! When I come back to Ouro Preto, I will stay here again.

    The location of this pousada, just outside the very busy, crowded main part of Ouro Preto was excellent. We could park in front of the pousada or through a gate at the back and still walk easily to the main points of interest in Ouro Preto and to the restaurants for dinner.
