When I moved to Playa del Carmen from Switzerland ten years ago, i was very fortunate to already have people here in Playa who introduced me to the life and culture. Even then i thought, "What a pity it is that most tourists aren't that lucky and therefore miss out on a lot and don't get the full "Playa experience". Many tourists who visit Playa don't leave their comfort zone (mostly the area near the beach) out of insecurity. Over time, my desire has grown to provide precisely those tourists with the security they need to live and enjoy the full "Playa experience". When i then met my current girlfriend and partner Wendy, who already had several years of experience in short-term rentals in Playa del Carmen, the decision was made, I wanted to buy an apartment and offer it for rent. So we started looking for apartments, our aim was to find an apartment that is close to the beach and in the center of the city, but still shows local life, all with the security and comfort of a condominium.
