This location makes it an ideal base for exploring some of Iceland´s most popular attractions like Gullfoss, Geysir, Kerið, Thingvellir (national park), Laugarvatn (Fontana spa) and Seljarlandsfoss to name a few. The location is wonderful, only 25m (80 feet) from Lake Apavatn filled with local trout.
