The Mary from Dungloe Festival and Daniel O'Donnell are what make our town famous but there is much more. There are breathtaking local beaches within a 10 min drive which offer canoeing, surfing, sea fishing and boat trips. Glenveagh National Park is a 30min drive away and here you can enjoy spectacular walks, the awesome castle, tearooms and magnificent gardens Errigal and Muckish mountain are within a half hour drive. Dunlewey Activity Centre is 30 mins away with loads of outdoor activities for children. Local bars and restaurants offer excellent seafood menus. Local ferrys will take you out to Arranmore, Tory and Inishbofin islands.
