Built on the fell-side over 3 levels, Spedding Fold offers superb views across Langdale towards Lingmoor Fell. The quiet location is within 15 minutes' drive of Ambleside & Grasmere with abundant walks from the door. There is plenty of space to spread out for 10 guests between the lounge and conservatory with pool/snooker table. Two TVs are also installed. 5 bedrooms, 1 twin and 1 double on the ground floor, 1 double and 1 single room on the middle floor, 1 family room with a double and single bed on the top floor.

The heart of the village is just a short stroll away where guests can find the well stocked local convenience store; the Langdale Coop, Brambles Cafe, the welcoming village Church – The Great Langdale Holy Trinity and Wainwrights Inn which sells locally brewed ales and provides quality homemade food. The famous climbers inn The Old Dungeon Ghyll, New Dungeon Ghyll Hotel and Stickle Barn Tavern are just up the Langdale Valley. The popular village of Elterwater is also within walking distance where guests will find The Britannia Inn and Slates Cafe opposite the magnificent maple tree. Fine dining is available from a delicious menu at the welcoming Eltermere Inn Country Hotel. Lanty Slees is located on the lane from Elterwater to Grasmere.
