The Kings Head is a 200-year-old hotel on the town square in Wimborne Minster. It has free Wi-Fi internet access, a bar, a good-value restaurant and free guest parking. Poole is 20 minutes’ drive away, and Bournemouth and Southampton are a 30-minute drive away. The restaurant serves good-value food all day, and Laing’s Bar serves coffee and pastries. The en suite bedrooms have a traditional decor and are furnished to a high standard. The original building dates back to the 1800s, and is decorated with old photographs that detail its history. Large windows, sofas and comfy armchairs create an elegant, traditional ambiance.
