3100 Kulmhotel, located in Gornergrat, is the highest hotel in the Swiss Alps and the mountain base camp of a high mountain range. It offers elegant rooms with free Wi-Fi. All of the rooms feature a cable TV with international channels, a work desk and a hair dryer and offer mountain views. The restaurant saycheese! Gornergrat serves world-famous classic Swiss dishes with local cheeses, while the Glacier Alpine Kitchen serves our guests classic Swiss cuisine. Gornergrat offers a variety of snow sports including skiing with ski-to-door access, snow boarding and hiking. The hotel also offers a packed lunch service for all guests. This secluded hotel features its own planetarium, a library and a shopping centre and offers stunning views of 29 four-thousend-metre peaks of the Alps. The viewing platform of Gornergrat and the areas around the hotel are only reachable by a regular train service, which takes 40 minutes’ through scenic countryside, from car-free Zermatt.

Zermatt je kraj brez avtomobilov. Z avtomobilom se lahko pripeljete do naselja Täsch, nato pa z vlakom nadaljujete pot do Zermatta. Postaja gorske železnice Gornergrat se nahaja tik ob železniški postaji.
Hotel je dostopen le z železnico. Zadnji vlak odpelje iz Zermatta ob 18.00 (v visoki sezoni je na voljo tudi poznejši vlak - preverite vozni red).
Sprejemajo tudi plačila s kartico "Swiss Postcard."
