Located in the heart of the city of Wellington,The Marion Hostel offers a range of backpacker accommodation and features a rooftop terrace. The place was very clean, warm, and comfortable. The facilities were amazing, including a very well-equipped kitchen. You could take a hot shower, and there was plenty of space for your towels and clothes. The people there were also very friendly. Another great feature was the on-site laundry service, which was very convenient.

This beautiful seaside accommodation provided everything and more than I expected. I decided to book the first three nights to rest after catching an illness and I ended up spending five nights there because it was so peaceful and homely; it honestly felt like recuperating at my own house. The room was comfy, warm and clean, the toilets spotless and the showers hot and roomy. The kitchen is modern and really well equipped, especially for such a small place. It had everything and beyond of what I needed. The lounge is super cozy and has a great view of the seaside while the garden is a great place to enjoy a meal in the sun. All of the staff were super friendly and the owner kept on checking how I was feeling which I found really nice. Not to mention the value, which is beyond great for what you get, with a great location and comfortable stay. Overall, it is thanks to Moana Lodge that I'm back on the road so quickly and I'll never forget my time there.

Discover the vibrant pulse of New Zealand’s capital at Haka House Wellington! Lovely place considering it’s a hostel. I wouldn’t usually book and stay at a hostel but wanted to stay where my son’s sports team was and I was pleasantly surprised at everything. My ensuite room was just perfect for what I needed this weekend.

Hotel Waterloo & Backpackers offers budget accommodation in the centre of Wellington. It features a 24-hour guest kitchen, self-service laundry facilities and a games room with pool tables. I got a room upgrade when I arrived so I had an awesome stay! The place is absolutely huge and of course the decor looks a bit tired but it was totally clean so no complaints at all. Hot shower, huge shared kitchen, great location literally right next to the bluebridge ferry terminal, and lovely staff. Will stay again my next visit to Wellington!

The 19th-century The Cambridge Hotel & Backpackers offers accommodation in the heart of Wellington’s city centre, just 3 minutes’ walk from the Courtenay Place entertainment district. Room with a shower makes a huge difference in this Hotel, the smell out of the shared showers/toilets was disgusting.... Friendly, helpful and professional staff. Perfect location for the city center, Airport Bus etc. Clean room with a comfortable bed.

Located in the heart of the city, Nomads Capital Backpackers offers 5-star backpackers accommodation. It is a 5-minute walk from Wellington's stunning waterfront. Very humble and cooperative staff. Tea and coffee was served free of charge. Reception staff guided very properly. It is in city centre.
