We had the private double room over the kitchen and it had everything we could have needed. It was quiet, clean, and one of the best places we’ve stayed on our CA trip so far. The host was lovely and friendly, laundry was done super quickly. One minor comment was that we would have loved it if the kitchen had a toaster and kettle.

The place is completely located in nature. It’s so lovely and beautiful. They have nice activities! I love the permaculture project and the 2hours-free yoga every morning. I also really liked the mushroom tour and the pizza night with psytrance music. You also can rent scooter and go to the waterfalls. The stuff and the volunteers are super nice and helpful and the food is super delicious.

This stay was great for the price that we paid for two air conditioned rooms. The rooms were very accommodating for our travel group of 5 ppl in one family room and 1 person in the other private room.Great restaurants in walking distance. Staff at the hostel is very friendly and helpful. Eventhough, we paid for air conditioning in the rooms- there was also two great fans to circulate the cold air 😇 there is also parking at the hostel for personal vehicle or motorcycles Upon seeing other hostels in the area this one looked far superior and unique .

We stayed in one of the new private rooms which had a bathroom. Nice distance from the party on a Wednesday so no issues with sleeping. Staff were super helpful. Easy to rent a scooter at the accomodation to get to all the main sights.

Learned this was one of the original hostels on Ometepe. Breakfasts and dinners were freshly prepared with local ingredients. Their dogs and cats were very nice to spend time with. The hosts can lease scooters and deliver them for competitive prices. Communication with host prior to and during stay was excellent.
