The location is absolutely perfect, just a short walk to numerous attractions, restaurants, and bars. It made exploring the city incredibly convenient. The bed was super comfy, ensuring a great night’s sleep after a day of adventures. The common area is spacious and comfortable, perfect for relaxing or socializing. There’s always something fun happening every night, from movie nights and pool tournaments to live acoustic performances, making it easy to meet fellow travelers and enjoy the community vibe. The real standout is the staff. Every one of them was incredibly welcoming and friendly, going out of their way to make sure guests feel at home. Their hospitality truly enhanced the experience, and it’s a big reason why I’d return to this hostel the next time I visit Penang. It’s a wonderful hostel with a perfect mix of comfort, activities, and exceptional service. Highly recommend!

The common spaces were really modern and it was pleasant to chill there. We had access to drinking water, coffee and tea. The location was everything! We were walking everywhere as the old town is just around the corner. You also have access to multiple really tasty restaurants all around the neighborhood. I recommend this place!

The host is very helpful. our flight was very late. but he was waiting for us till the midnight. gave us useful information. The hostel is like traditional penang old house. looks like a museum. Really nice experience~ strongly recommend~

The facilities are simple. It was super clean and so far best accommodation I had in Malaysia on a low budget. The owners were also super nice. When we had an issue they quickly responded, helped and accommodated us. The owner also stepped by to check up on us and gave us a great list of recommendations for Penang.

Aayu Chulia - Chulia St, George Town se nachází v destinaci George Town. Pláž Northam Beach je 2,1 km daleko a Penang Times Square 1,8 km. The staff are incredible, Shane was truly amazing. They helped us check in early and then also we got the checkout time wrong and they allowed us a late checkout. Extremely kind of them! Also, the property is clean and everything works perfectly. Great little common space as well. Location is also perfect!
