You can tell he likes to meet new people and to help them discovering the town. The place is small and confortable. I slept well. And the town has so many things to see and visit. I would definitely like to go back to this hostel!

Located in Shimoda, 100 metres from Shirahama Ohama Beach, Yado KONAMI offers beachfront accommodation and various facilities, such as a garden. The facility is little old, but very clean and the staff is very attentive and considerate.. we will definitely go back.. its like youre staying at the house of a japanese family back then. The toilet is old style but no problem at all.. the water is clean the bed sheets and bath is clean the kitchen stuffs also..

Free WiFi is available and private parking can be arranged at an extra charge.... The location is great, just 7 mins walk from Fuji JR station. There is Lawson by 2 mins walk from hostel. The bathroom is cleans and separate wet and dry area, The facility and bathroom amenities is well prepared. The daytime staff is super friendly and speaks well English. The bathroom is on the 1st floor, which I have to walk up and down the stairs to take a shower but it’s nice for making zero noise when it’s sleeping time.

The common areas are relaxing and even though it’s described as a hostel you still have the privacy of your own room. Located right near the sea front and about a 15 minute walk to the train station.
