Kotori Coworking & Hostel Kotohira se nachází v atraktivní lokalitě ve čtvrti Konpira Onsen v destinaci Kotohira. Very cute and big hostel. The facilities were great and offered very cheap laundry (which is rare)! The beds were very comfortable and the space for each person was big! Very kind and friendly staff that helped to show us around. Shower area was also one of the best I’ve been to.

The owner is really sweet and welcoming 💗 everything was extremely clean and comfortable and it was in a nice quiet location. Felt like being at home! With laundry, a well supplied kitchen, and even a comfy living room It’s a perfect spot for Pilgrims! But I think everybody else would love it too

The house is beautifully designed and we loved that it's different than most Japanese guest houses. It's lovely to have such a modern and cozy concept in a small town, away from the crowds. There is actually a lot of charm in the town and it was one of our favorite stops on a month-long trip to Japan. That is also because of Alrik, who manages the property. He was so kind, hospitable, and friendly! We felt welcomed as friends, not just hotel guests. He did everything we could to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. There is a beautiful forest around, the view from the top of the town is lovely, so is the walk by the river and sunset. The Shinto shrine was such a special experience too! Thank you, Alrik and Next Chapter for this beautiful stay! We will come back to the area just to visit the guest house again, especially if Alrik is still running it!

If you're on the Shikoku Henro (a pilgrimage to visit 88 temples related to Kukai, Kobo Daishi), Shippoya 七宝屋 is perfectly located between Temple 70 Motoyamaji and Temple 71 Iyadaniji, amidst tranquil farms and paddy fields. The hostel for guests is beautifully and thoughtfully designed by the owner, reminiscent of Scandinavian minimalist aesthetics. Unlike many dormitory hostels where it is difficult for even an Asian person of average height to sit up fully in the lower bunk bed, the dormitory at Shippoya offers a generous and welcoming space even for taller guests! Private rooms are also available. Friendly and knowledgeable, Shippoya's owner is able to speak English well, making it much easier for foreign guests to communicate, have interesting conversations, and learn about Japanese culture. Guests can use the washing machine for free, and there is an outdoor space to hang and dry clothes.

Good location close to stores and attractions. Parking close by. Nice interior, good facilities, friendly staff. Roomy bunk beds with curtains, heating inside. They have items for sale and a bar. Meals are available for an extra charge.

Ohana se nachází v destinaci Nada a nabízí ubytování s koly zdarma a zahradou a bezplatné Wi-Fi ve všech prostorách. This is a wonderful place to stay with the kindest family as the hosts. They were so sweet to allow me to come early and rest as the heat was terrible and I was hiking. She also cooked me the most delicious vegetarian meal and visited with me while I ate. I loved my stay!

Kanchantei The Mainhouse se nachází v destinaci Minamicho a nabízí kola zdarma, zahradu, sdílený lounge a bezplatné Wi-Fi. The host was exceptionally friendly and his place was beautiful decorated with the best futon and soft floor. And as an extra, he speaks very good English which makes everything so much easier. I can’t recommend this place enough
