The park next to the room was very nice to walk around, and the park cats were so cute!

At the end of the day I stayed there, I walk ed to the Sesoko Beach and i suddenly noticed that if I walk to the bus stop I wouldn’t catch it. Then sasaki San drives me to the bus station generously. I really have to say I have a sweet memory in Okinawa, traveling alone in sesoko island. The hostel is amazing, warm, and comfortable.i think I will back again to see the summer scenery there.

The common area was equipped with TV, switch 2 console, and a working area with computers. The kitchen was nice, had everything you need for prepping a meal including condiments. Fridge was huge and more than enough to store everyone’s foods. The bed, bathrooms and toilets were all spotless. The hosts also treated me like their friends and were very welcoming.

Situated in Onna, within 600 metres of Zanee Beach and less than 1 km of Maeda Cape, Akachichi Guesthouse features accommodation with a terrace and as well as free private parking for guests who drive. Kenny and Komaki put so much thought into everything to help us feel at home and get a real flavour of beautiful Okinawa; from the books in the room, to the recommendations they had put together and the sweet Okinawan teas in the fridge. Nestled in a quiet little side street, Akachichi is within walking distance of many beaches Okinawa has to offer, and it has serene and peaceful surroundings. The room is so comfortable, clean and spacious - it felt like a home away from home. Kenny and Komaki were such warm and generous hosts who went above and beyond in every way. Nothing was too much for them and we felt so looked after. It made my morning to see Komaki bring us fresh, healthy and stunning breakfasts on the terrace each day (and on Sunday, a gorgeous packed-up food we took down to the beach). This is not just another place to stay - unlike a big hotel with a functional check-in and soul-less buffet, Akachichi Guesthouse really helps you immerse into the culture, meet some wonderful people and leave your troubles at the doorstep. We travelled the whole of Japan for 3 weeks and this was the most memorable and inspiring stay that we will cherish forever. We are so motivated to learn about Okinawa even more after this. I have been staying in this wonderful hostel for a long time. It is 3-4 minutes walking distance from Kokusai street and in a great location.. Also, if I talk about my thoughts about the hostel.. I feel comfortable and comfortable every day at the hostel as if I had just arrived. because all possibilities are renewed every morning! you can also speak english with Ms. Maiko at the reception. She has a good command of all the subjects in this hostel, but she is very successful in communication. Also, whatever you want from Ms. Rumi during cleaning hours in the hostel will help you. I would really like to open parenthesis to these two women and thank all their employees.

Stuff are friendly, providing a lot helpful information about food recommendation, diving/ snorkeling plan, bike rental, beach recommendation, and so on. I met so many people from all around the world and we share travel plans and life. Very pleasant stay!
