Hostel Cuore Kurashiki se nachází v historické čtvrti Bikan v Kurashiki, jen 10 minut chůze od nádraží JR Kurashiki. Každý pokoj má jedinečný design a stylový interiér. Hezká budova, hezký vstup i restaurace, hezký pokoj i koupelna, samostatné wc, měl jsem tichou místnost. V přízemí je společná pračka.

DENIM HOSTEL float se nachází v destinaci Kurašiki a nabízí pokoje s výhledem na moře. Jen 16 km odtud je Mizushima Ryokuchi Fukuda Park. It feels like a secret holiday house. The bath was very relaxing and you can use it privately too. The staff are very friendly, they helped providing me with alternative methods to reach the property as the direct buses stop after 7pm or so. It’s very clean and the restaurant felt very private and delicious. You can grind coffee beans in your room and read books and magazines it was a beautiful experience and design.

Hibari House Guest house se nachází 10 minut jízdy od nádraží Okayama, odkud se za 40 minut dostanete vlakem na nádraží Hirošima a za 50 minut na nádraží Shin-Osaka. I forgot something there and they went out of their way to send it to my new location!

Kamp Houkan-cho Backpacker's Inn & Lounge’s se nachází pouhých 500 metrů od západního východu stanice JR Okayama a nabízí kavárnu s živým pódiem pro DJ a další umělce. Definitely a dorm with a musical vibe. It's run from a cafe that hosts live music every now and then. Was fortunate to be able to attend one of the live sessions on the Friday evening that I was there. Excellent setup, could tell that they are really one with music. Facilities were great with everything required if you need to prepare your own food.

Kikusui Ryokan se nachází v destinaci Tamano a poskytuje pokoje s klimatizací a zahradu. Sogenji Temple je 24 km daleko. Mizushima Ryokuchi Fukuda Park se nachází 24 km od ubytování. Ryokan was amazing. Great location, central to everything. Building and rooms were authentic, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. All the extra touches like the robes and artwork were very thoughtful. Favourite Japan stay on our trip. Would highly recommend.

北房まちの駅 AZAE ドリトミー azae se nachází v destinaci Maniwa a nabízí zahradu, bezplatné Wi-Fi ve všech prostorách a neplacené soukromé parkoviště pro hosty, kteří přijedou autem. Mr Sakamoto was a wonderful host! He does his job well as local town tourist information manager. He welcomed us, gave us some maps and answered our questions. It’s a converted Japanese house, not a hotel. We stayed in the cheaper dormitory part of the property. It was adequate. In the dormitory side the two rooms are upstairs and the toilet and small shower are downstairs. The toilets were clean and the kitchenette area under the stairs was adequate for simple dinner and breakfast we had. The local supermarket is a short distance away by car and open 9a-9p. Plenty of selection available. We enjoyed a morning walk along the lovely little river and through the town and countryside. The firefly park and pavilion were a short drive away but they were interesting to see. We’d love to go back in the spring during cherry blossom season and in early June for the firefly season. The stars were beautiful since there’s little light pollution!
