All rooms will provide guests with a stovetop. We were accomodated in different place than was advertised, so I cannot review anything. Price was high, but it could be because of the autumn festival that was happening that day.

Great Hostel. Quite new and super clean. Rooms had bunk beds and it was great to sleep on a real mattress.
Compared to other places in this village, it was a cheap stay. I liked the common area and kitchenette with free coffee etc. 20 minute walk to the attractions. The free shuttle was handy. Decent location. Not much within a 5 minute walk though. Good for a one night stay.
Very friendly, helpful and kind staff - they contacted the police for me when I left my wallet full of money at a market stall (and it wasn’t there when I returned to the stall). My wallet was never found in the end but I’m grateful for their efforts. The hostel is a great location - ~10 min walk from train/bus station and main hub of Takayama. It is also kept very clean! Personal lockers in dorm rooms were also a bonus!
This place is perfect to discover magome juku and the nakasendo trail ! For smaller budget like me they just opened a dormitory that is really confortable and give you access to a great experience in magome ! They have really good breakfast and dinner if you want and they are willing to help anytime !
Good for backpackers or solo travellers who enjoy meeting new people in a guesthouse as there will be other people around.
Great location just near the train station and the bus terminal to various locations like Kamikochi, Shin Hotaka Ropeway just to name a few. Super clean rooms with charging points on the Sofa, nice balcony facing the train track (but we couldn't hear a thing with the glass doors closed. We got the 2 x queen size + 2 bunk beds combo for 3 persons. It will be great for families.
The staff is so nice and the location on the hill is very cute. There is a direct bus going into the city just 2 minutes downhill. The bed was really cozy with a big blanket and curtains. The hostel is in an older style but all so clean and I instantly felt safe and cozy there.
Parking spot with our name on it, manned front desk with staff who were able to provide helpful suggestions, the kids loved the bunk beds (which were also safe and a good use of space), close proximity to restaurants and landmarks (we drove but you could easily walk).
