The zostel is so much cleaner than every other Hotel or Hostel i stayed in! The bedsheets where white and clean. No dust or dirt on the floor! Is is not only clean but very cosy! The location is also perfect if you want to be close to the bus stand and nature at the same time. It has a nice view over the town. There is also a restaurant that has many options you can choose from. Really delicious! If you need something or have any problems, then contact the staff! They are really friendly and try to make your stay as memorable as possible!

There were always friendly people around, but it never felt busy or overwhelming. I could join in or take time for myself, and both felt equally supported. Nitish was really helpful before I even arrived, sending clear directions and making the whole process simple 🛤️. Once I got there, he made sure I felt welcome. Lucky, who helps take care of the space, was kind and friendly too 🌼🙂. For what’s offered, the price is very fair 🍀. If you’re heading to Auroville and looking for a quiet, conscious place to stay, HostelExp is a great choice. I’d definitely come back 🌺✨.

The environment here is very friendly, they never made us feel lonely... We made so many friends because of these guys..... I really loved the way they welcomed us and introduced themselves and introduced us to all the people who are in the hostel.... We had a blasting New Year 2024 celebrations here..... They made us feel that we are with family and very close friends... We got to meet new people and made friends..... Probably one of the best hostel experiences I’ve had so far. Coming here feels like coming to a home. The owner is just an absolutely incredible person who will make sure you have the best stay depending on your desires and he will be able to help you with pretty much anything! He brought me coffee every morning and was continuously making sure I was having a good time. I was there during my birthday and I couldn’t have felt more taken care of. The owner had bought a beautiful cake and made the other guests come sing for me together with himself and his family, as well as having a birthday dinner at a restaurant together with everyone in the evening. A friend of him who was also staying at the hostel cooked an amazing lunch for us. Can’t even describe how grateful I was for all the celebrations and him being so considerate! The location is great, near the main streets as well as the ferry. Facilities are new and fresh with nice A/C in the rooms. Comfy bed and pillows. Nice kitchen and common area and it has a rooftop where one can do yoga, meditate, dance (there’s a speaker even), or just chill with other people in the couches. The owner also knows all the best tips and tricks around the area, as well as of Kerala, and will be happy to share! He even helped me figure out my continuing travels over the phone after I had left the hostel! Very happy I came here.

The breakfast was great and it had a calm vibe to the place. Anup is a great host and helped with anything I asked. All the staff make this one of the best places I’ve stayed (including the very friendly cat)
