The manager Maria and the volunteer are super hostpitable and patient to my bad English. I was so lucky to own the whole 4- bed room as I was the only guest booking that room. The location is just aside the main road A 9 which is quite convenient to start off for a cyclist. I was told the hostel used to be a school, so you may find the dining room, living room and bed rooms are quite spacious and roofs are high.

The hosts were really nice. We arrived in the middle of a storm and they sent us text messages to make sure we were OK and offered to help us on the walk. Incredible place, I wish we would have stayed longer! Thanks for everything.

Comfortable Accommodation: Great Glen Hostel in Spean Bridge offers family rooms with private bathrooms, carpeted floors, and garden, lake, and mountain views. Each room includes a shower. We stayed at this hostel and had a good experience overall. The room was basic with bunk beds and a private bathroom. There was a shared kitchen and a common room with board games, which was a nice touch. The on-site restaurant served simple food, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. A good place for a short stay.

This is the third year in a row we’ve stayed here, and we’ll be back again. The location is stunning! We’re into our road cycling and there aren’t many better places to base your road cycling out of than here. I particularly like cycling along the coast to Shieldaig and then back over the notorious Bealach na Bah! The cooking facilities here are as good as anywhere I’ve been, plenty fridge space (and even a freezer), and there’s a dishwasher which makes it a lot easier to tidy up after breakfast and dinner. There are decent dining options nearby in the Walled Garden and the Applecross Inn, as well as an ice cream van. There are laundry facilities here too which come in very handy when you’re having an ‘active’ break. On our holiday my partner sprained her ankle and the staff were so supportive and helped out whilst I was away for the day, helping her move a chair outside to sit on. The staff do an amazing job at keeping the facilities super clean which I think is really important to guests.

Just a few minutes’ walk from Fort Augustus on the edge of Loch Ness, this award-winning lodge offers four-star hostel accommodation with free Wi-Fi and free parking on site. Personál byl velmi ochotný a milý. Pokoj byl super. Vše bylo čisté. V ubytování byla k dispozici i kuchyňka. Lokalita parádní. K Loch Ness jsme se dostaly bez problémů pešky.

Great kitchen, common area with a fireplace and super helpful staff. Lots of great walks and hikes nearby and the staff were great at giving suggestions.

Inverness Youth Hostel stojí pouhých 10 minut pěšky od vlakového nádraží Inverness. Nabízí neplacené soukromé parkoviště a úschovnu jízdních kol. That feeling you get when you stay in a YH of being at home. Also the security and scrupulous cleanliness of th et place. Facilities were excellent.

The perfect location for our trip to see the Jacobite (Hogwarts Express) at Glenfinnan. We were fortunate enough to have the Bunkhouse to ourselves which meant we didn't have to share the communal areas. Bonus! The host is wonderful and made sure we had everything we needed
