The lodge is located on Playa Brava which is probably the quietest of Tayrona's main beaches because it's a much longer and more challenging hike to reach. As a result you have a real feeling of escapism, and there are much more premium accommodation options than in the rest of the park. It was a great place to chill out and enjoy escaping reality.

We had access to free drinking water, the breakfast was absolutely delicious, and the beds were really comfy. The restaurant around the corner was delicious. We would definitely stay here again.

The host family is incredibly kind and helpful, the supper was great, the kids had a great time feeding and playing with the parrots, the facilities and property were comfortable and just what we needed. Mosquito nets were new and the room was very clean. We also found it helpful having parking inside the park, for our rental car (it meant we could enter the park later than the masses and drive flexibly to the parking lot at the trailhead early the next morning). I would highly recommend staying here!

The Valley Tayrona hostel- A social jungle hostel se nachází v destinaci El Zaino a nabízí venkovní bazén, zahradu, sdílený lounge a terasu. Ubytování nabízí bar. The location was great, surroundings were beautiful, you could fall asleep and wake up to the sound of birds chirping. While reading a book I also spotted some monkeys. The staff was superfriendly, all spoke english aswell (a treat you don't see much in Columbia). Food was nice. It was super close to Tayrona entrance. Definately worth to stay longer than just for visiting Tayrona.

Welcome to the Caribbean coast of Colombia, where you will find beaches, surfing waves, palm trees, a jungle and the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta (the highest mountain range near the sea in the... Vale and Lin at the reception were really helpful. Really cool place to stay at the beach. Would definitly come back!

Amazing location jungle hostel with an amazing set of hosts. The vibe is chill with some social energy still possible. The pool is superb and the overall place is one of the best values I've found in Colombia. It is a jungle hostel with immersion into the jungle, it will be hot and with mosquitoes. I was looking for this kind of place, and it was better than expected.

The feel of the place was relaxed and friendly. Lola was very helpful with options for activities and spoke beautiful English, a help to us with very little Spanish skill. The location near the east entrance of Tayrona Park was close enough that a Mototaxi can get you there. The beach was clean and for the week we were there it was swimmable; the currents can get bad enough to close it for swimming. There is the Mendihuaca River 5 min down the beach that was good for shallow swimming and cooling off. Lots of food options near the hostal; hostal breakfast was simple but very satisfying. Good fan in our room and mosquito nets.
