Absolutely fantastic - one of the best places we have ever stayed in. The host is a really nice, friendly and caring person, and stayed and chatted with us and another guest for ages while we were having breakfast. The room was lovely and the WiFi excellent (I needed it for work), but best of all was the breakfast, which was varied, generous and copious - and as an added bonus the host went out specially to get fresh bread. In fact I ought to explain, in response to people who have said they didn't like the breakfast being available from a fixed time, that this is because that is when the bakery opens!! I don't mind waiting a few minutes for my breakfast if the reward is fresh, warm bread! The apartment is also close to the centre of Porto and the amazing bridge over the Douro river - a 15-minute walk or a 3-minute cheap tram ride. It is in a residential block with an underground car park, which was great because we had a rental car and didn't want it to get damaged by being parked on the street. We will definitely stay here again if we return to Porto (and I hope we do!). Thanks for a wonderful stay!

The location is incredibly convenient, with a bus stop right outside for easy airport access. The ensuite bathroom and shower facilities are well thought out, featuring two separate units each, which is a real plus for a 6-person dorm room. The beds are remarkably comfortable, and I appreciated the daily housekeeping service – a rarity for hostels. They even provided me with a fresh towel after my second night! The staff here is truly exceptional; they're always ready to answer any questions you might have, but they respect your privacy unless you reach out, which I really appreciate. I've seen some reviews mentioning bunkmates, but it's worth noting that the hostel can't control who their paying customers are. After all, everyone has a right to stay here. Highly recommended!
