Fabulous! This has to be one of the best, if not the best, hostel that I stayed in during my travels. I do not know where to begin in terms of describing just how amazing my overall experience was. The hostel is only a month or so old so everything is, as one would expect, brand new. Setback from the road you're away from the noise and traffic and yet still only a 5minute walk to the bustling cliff area. The dorm rooms are a good size with comfy beds, privacy curtains and individual lockers. The whole place is spotlessly clean. There's a lovely chill out area upstairs with a well appointed kitchen where you can either cook for yourself or buy a delicious breakfast, lunch or dinner for around RPS150. The garden is a delight to sit in and isn't really overlooked either. What makes this place complete are the brilliant team; huge thanks to Vikram and Pintu who made me feel so welcome and provided so much fun and laughter. Book it now before it's too late!

I loved everything about this place. The hosts are gooood people, the vibes are chill.. it is a perfect mix of social and relaxing. It feels like my second home, and I can’t wait to go back!!!! You can order really delicious food or make your own in the kitchen!!! Definitely look no further and stay at Barefoot. You won’t regret it!

I stayed there for a week and it was lovely. The place is really clean, the rooms are nice and the common areas are great. They really care about their guests and it was a good place to stay, close to the cliff but not in the middle of the Varkala tourists chaos. Thank you all so much for everything!!!

I loved the charm and ambiance of the place. It was calm and relaxing. Very close access to the beach. The staff is present and friendly. Very good value for money. Ideal for solo travelers who want conviviality.

The employees were very kind, the place is good location, quiet but the beach is very near, you can also see the beach from the place. There is garden, clean bathroom, toilet paper, common place for chilling, good wifi. It is modern, clean, there are curtains around the beds, and locker. Everything was good, I also liked the vibes.

We had an amazing time at cliff and coral. The private room was spacious and neat and the place has a great garden to hang out. The stand out thing was meeting other travellers and the staff- everyone was so welcoming and we were all even invited to a celebration for Onam festival which was so much fun. Thanks guys!
