Very good location 5 min walking from Anachal town, restaurants, bus station... The family who manage the place are very lovely and helpful. The rooms are very big, with a terrace and nice, and new bathrooms. The vibe was really good, I met very mindful travelers and the terrace is a good spot to practice yoga during sunrise.

I originally booked a 3-day stay, but ended up extending it to a week because the experience was so fantastic. The location is absolutely worth visiting – breathtaking views and a peaceful atmosphere that really make the trip special. From the accommodation to the tours they organize, everything was seamless. Huge kudos to Rito and Jeetu bhai for their excellent service and hospitality. The food was another highlight that I still crave! Given that there aren’t many good options nearby, having delicious meals right on the property was a lifesaver. Special thanks to Tapas and Dilshan for managing the restaurant so efficiently – they really made sure every meal was perfect. Overall, this place exceeded my expectations in every way, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Suryanelli's piece of paradise. What a little unknown gem of a hostel. Located inside the world's highest tea estate, the property is so thoughfully laid out. Kiran and Leo are simple the best hosts, along with the rest of the staff that makes you feel right at home. This is THE place to stay if you are there for the Kollukumalai jeep sunrise. They will handle the bookings for you, wake you up at 4 and have the jeep pick uou up at the property too. The views from the hostel are breathtaking. Do not miss the evening trek and the coffee.

The view was INSANE. We spent a lot of time in the hostel itself (more than we usually do) and don’t regret it at all. The staff and the atmosphere was lovely, the place was clean and the beds were a good size. Honestly, it’s hard to fault, it has most areas you would need; you want a relaxed and quiet place you can come here. If you want somewhere to chat and have fun you can come here. Also I must mention how amazing the food was, especially for the price. 10/10, would come again.
