United StatesWonderful hostel on the beach front, a 30 minute walk from the centre but felt very safe to walk to and from even at night. Hosts were very attentive, made sure to learn the names of everyone staying and we're always on hand to help with a smile. As previously described, felt like a homestay, a big positive for me

The staff was excellent and very welcoming, and they even made me vegan breakfast in the morning! They also introduced me to the other people in the hostel, so it was easy to get in touch even though I don’t speak Portuguese :) The location is fantastic: right at the beach, and you can walk along the coast into the city; most tours will pick you up at the door.
