Spotlessly clean and very tastefully designed and decorated. Manoji and her husband are exceptional hosts: Manoji’s thoughtfulness and care (and her cooking lessons!) made the space feel like home. Highbury is a short tuktuk ride away from the Gallery Cafe and Geoffrey Bawa’s Residence (No. 11). Would definitely return to Highbury if I’m ever back in Colombo!

An exceptionally clean and spacious room in a quiet and green area outside Colombo. The bed and pillows were lovely and comfortable, which made for a restful night. There was a fridge and small kitchen area in the room, with a kettle, cups, plates, and basic utensils. The room had a TV, fan, and air conditioner. The bathroom is modern, with a lovely hot and cold walk-in shower. Soap and shampoo were provided. There was a large lounge and dining area separate to the sleeping area, available for my use. There was also a lovely veranda / balcony off the bedroom, with a table and 2 chairs to sit on. Gayathri was friendly and welcoming, and we had a lovely discussion upon my arrival. Breakfast is provided, but I left too early in the morning to enjoy this lovely addition.

A spacious room with all necessary facilities one needs, comfortable bed, ensuite bathroom, a veranda just outside and comfy chairs on another veranda from which to enjoy the garden. Host family was ever so welcoming and helping - even getting up at 5:30am to get me to the station as my pick up never arrived.

They gave us a drink on arrival. Great communication and the area is lovely. Close to amenities and beachfront.

The owners were very welcoming and really made us feel at home. They made great recommendations for restaurants and places to go around the city and were just really nice to chat to. Breakfast consisted of delicious traditional Sri Lankan food and the home and pool were very clean and well looked after. We would definitely stay again if we return to Sri Lanka.

Featuring free WiFi throughout the property, Sayura House offers accommodation in Colombo, 3.5 km from Asiri Surgical Hospital. Free private parking is available on site. The vibe was cozy and comfortable and very relaxing. Gamini was the perfect host and made sure everything was smooth and enjoyable. Max was a joy and made the place seem so much more homely. Would definitely come back here for future stays.
