I love how the space feels like coming back home, the owner is really kind, funny and I enjoy talking with him and other travelers. We sat all together and had some fun.time. The room I stayed in was a dormitory, the futon mattress was comfortable. I enjoyed the location as well. Even though it's a 30 min walk to the station, it's a really historical area and you will enjoy walking around. I highly recommend it!.

The host was super friendly! It had a homely feel and I felt very comfortable here. We also had a BBQ together on the front deck!

The room is very spacious with TV, wifi, fridge, kettle for tea and coffee. Ask to Mr Suzuki to turn the heater on because it is very cold in winter time. The Minpaku is only 10 minutes on foot from the train station, 3 minutes to Motsuji temple and 20 minutes an foot from Chousun temple. Takkoku no Iwaya is 5 km far away, so you need a bike to reach it.

Also enjoyed the breakfast Futons are comfortable and warm so we could sleep without the heater in the mid November

The hosts were very friendly and welcoming - there was also a breakfast included (which I didn't remember getting). The house was full of history and souvenirs which I'm sure the hosts are more than happy to talk to you about. There is also "sake nights" where the hosts offered us a chance to try different sakes. There is only one shower in the facility, so there is a booking system to reserve your shower slot.

Relatively close to the station and the facilities were nice. My favorite part, however, was talking with the staff. Everyone, staff and other guests, was super nice and understanding making it my favorite part of my Japan trip so far. Especially how it was a great chance to meet lots of new people from all over Japan and the world and practice my Japanese with everyone working there. I would highly recommend!
