Our stay at Terimakasih Homestay was absolutely fantastic! The location is perfect, with a stunning reef right in front of the property – ideal for snorkeling and enjoying the marine life. The food was delicious and freshly prepared, offering a delightful variety of flavors every day. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive, making us feel truly welcomed. The owner, Mario, was very responsive and helpful. The rooms and common areas were clean and tidy, reflecting the homestay's commitment to providing a comfortable environment for guests. Highly recommended for anyone looking to experience the beauty of Raja Ampat with top-notch hospitality! We are coming back for sure.

The owner and all the staff were very kind and friendly. The bedroom was very spacious and clean, built with high-quality, sturdy materials. The decor was beautiful, and the view was amazing. There was a USB charger in the bedroom which was convenient for charge your mobile and camera. Electricity was available 24/7, and the Wi-Fi signal was strong in every room and throughout the resort. The private bathroom was clean, and the water pressure was very strong. The housel reef was stunning—you could spend an entire week exploring it. Highly recommended!!

The owner is a wonderful man who always helps out wherever he can. We had some amazing game nights and day trip adventures with him. The location is perfect and we loved that there are only 2 bungalows so it's really private and quiet. The bungalow itself is simple but has all you need, same with the shared bathrooms. Also the food is amazing! All in all we had a wonderful time and would have loved to stay longer.

Words can't describe how amazing the experience was. Paparisa is a brand new, small, private and secluded homestay with the nicest houses in Kri Island by far (compared to all the other homestays). The place has five "resort level" cosy houses with ensuite semi-open air bathroom (rare in Raja Ampat), big nice comfortable beds with mosquito net, a small private terrace in each house to relax or to watch the sunset and a small restaurant to enjoy your meals (they are building a nice sunset view big restaurant which they said will be ready by September 2025). They provide towels, toilet paper and linen so no need to bring yours. They have some toiletries but better bring some extra shampoo and shower gel for your convenience. Electricity is available almost half of the day and it is more than enough to charge anything in your room! The sea is just three meters from your door so you can easily swim whenever you want. This is also very convenient for diving or excursion's pickups as the boats pick you up straight from your door to go for diving or for a trip! Also, in walking distance you can snorkel in very amazing home reefs on your own. Paparisa rents for a small amount of money snorkeling equipment and these guys can also arrange several snorkeling trips to anywhere in the area. They also have contacts around so don't hesitate to ask them for anything you need! The communication before arrival through WhatsApp was exceptional and they have helped us a lot with our planning (the boat from Waisai to Kri arranged by them and a lot more). The food in the place is very tasty and feels like home and they are willing to cater any special dietary needs (vegetarian, vegan etc).

No need to book any excursions, beside Fam island, cause you had turtles, reef sharks, even mantas so very close! So loved to stay with that family! The son went out spearfishing for a nice meal ... would love to come back, no better place to snorkeling like 6 hours a day 🤩😊😘. Thanks a lot 😘😘😘

This place looks so beautiful, the family have created such a beautiful, place with shells and driftwood decorating everything, we loved it. The food was incredible and the room was very comfy. The house reef was beautiful and we saw mantas straight from our room! Thank you so much for such a beautiful stay.

We had a wonderful stay at Nyanse Homestay! The food is delicious, plentiful, and very varied. There are also many vegetarian options. The family is very friendly, and there are excursions available. We booked a jungle tour and snorkeling with manta rays, and we were not disappointed. We also saw blacktip reef sharks near the homestay. The restrooms are functional but clean, and there was always plenty of hand soap and toilet paper. If the village generator fails, Nyanse Homestay can produce electricity with its own generator, so you have light and can charge your phone overnight. We recommend Nyanse Homestay 100% and would return anytime.

The homestay owner contactes us prior to our arrival to check if we were finding our way (they also offered a taxi pick-up at the harbour) and welcomed us with open arms. The homestay has a nice small garden where we had breakfast. The owners also helped us to arrange our taxi next morning

The hostess is incredibly friendly and helpful, always smiling and trying to address any of your requests. She speaks very good English, communicates very efficiently and has a in-depth knowledge of the activities in Waisai and surrounding islands. Highly recommended.

Oh, and I forgot their two sweet dogs Ringo & Dingo 🐾🐾 Owners are very helpful and speak several languages so easy to communicate with them. Internet is sometimes a bit unstable so take that into account when expecting speedy replies (sometimes it just doesn’t work and patience is a good thing to have). The food - home style cooking (breakfast, lunch and dinner are all cooked by the owner and her team and she is a great cook; we loved every meal which was perfectly catered to our vegetarian / pescatarian wishes) The rooms are close to nature as well, with very comfy beds (we stayed in both the smaller and the biggest family room, which easily fits 3 respectively 4 people; the 3rd bed in the smaller room has a wonderful treehouse feeling and there is a bunkbed in the biggest room). Hard to capture the beauty of the rooms in just one picture (I took several but could only post one here with my review). You can hear the sea and birds from your bedroom. It’s right next to you. No frills, just natural materials, which we loved. Also no warm water, but easily to get used to. There’s a shower and mandi style shower. Also your own toilet. Plus the blue blue sea right at your doorstep and a lovely sitting area with a hammock to complete the zen-feeling. There’s a long jetty into the sea with a perfect spot for exercise/meditation/yoga at the end. Fitness with a view! It’s quiet and feels very private. You instantly feel relaxed here. Different excursions to choose from, both on land and on/under the sea. Please note: these come at an extra cost and Raja Ampat area is not cheap!!!!
