Room was clean and nicely decorated. The manager was wonderful and even arrived minutes later to resolve an issue with an overhead light that would not turn off. The shower was great with lots of water pressure and soap provided. The location is right off the West Highlands Way trail which was so nice for the walk. It is right on the water which is just beautiful. It’s a short walk across the parking lot to the Clansman Pub and Restaurant. We enjoyed dinner and breakfast here and the staff were friendly and attentive.

Located in Balloch, 2.7 km from Balloch Castle Country Park, Anchorage Guest House - Also 1 room available with Hot Tub,must be booked separately provides accommodation with free WiFi and free private... The Anchorage was the perfect stopover place for us. The rooms were pristine and there was great attention to detail. All rooms are on the ground floor in a quiet location which suited our party. Ensuite was well equipped with towels and toiletries and there was hot water on demand.There were tea and coffee facilities, a table and chairs for inside and rattan furniture in the patio area accessible from the room.. There was a choice of bars and restaurants nearby and the accomodation is adjacent to the pier on Loch Lomond. Breakfast was not included but we were informed of this when booking. As we arrived outside check in time of 7pm we did not meet Chloe, the host, but she arranged self check-in for us and responded very promptly to our messages. I would strongly recommend the Anchorage .
