We had a wonderful stay at Escapada al mar in Panama! The place was exactly what we were looking for on our way back to Panama City —comfortable, clean, and perfectly located near the beach. One of the highlights was the access to a private beach club, complete with a swimming pool as well as sunbeds, and parasols on the beach - it really elevated the whole experience. The atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing, and the hosts were warm and welcoming. We felt very well taken care of and truly enjoyed every moment. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a serene getaway by the sea!

Excellent value for a large, comfortable space with good amenities. Only 300m from a large shopping mall and the main road through the city. The location itself was quiet overnight, the wifi and air conditioning and shower all worked well.

The beach house was ideal for what we needed. We took up 2 of the 4 rooms and used the common area quite a bit. The rooms are simple and comfortable with AC. There are facilities to store food and cook but we only used the fridge. The beach is 30 seconds away and the Lilian restaurant is about 6 minute walk! Perfect! The breakfast was basic but tasty - eggs with toast and coffee. The Fonda across the road is great for lunch too. Patricia was a fabulous host, helpful, attentive and friendly. Would 100% recommend!

The owner Ariel went out of his way to make us feel at home and make our travels easy. He is probably the most hospitable host we have ever encountered in our travels. He met us in town at the bus stop and offered to drop us off at the bus stop when we were leaving. He is very knowledgeable about the town and activities, and loves to share music and stories. The communal spaces are very homely, there is a big backyard space and a river alongside the property.
