Guesthouse RICO se nachází v destinaci Wakajama a nabízí sdílený lounge, terasu, bar a bezplatné Wi-Fi ve všech prostorách. The property and rooms had a very quirky and pleasing design! We really enjoyed the preservation of the original building, but with a modern update. The room was spacious and comfortable for a group of friends, and there were nice common spaces such as the pantry and bar areas downstairs. It was well situated, near to many food options, and was easy to access busses to places of interest. We walked from the Wakayama train station and that was a little far but you could easily take a bus.

The staff is really helpful, especially if you plan to send your luggage somewhere, if you plan to hike the Kumano Kodo

ゲストハウス柚 se nachází v destinaci Šingu a nabízí ubytování s koly zdarma, neplaceným soukromým parkovištěm, zahradou a sdíleným loungem. Kumano Hayatama Taisha je 200 metrů daleko. The owner had a very welcoming energy and the space was cosy. Great location. A really lovely little town.

This place is a gem and a must stay if you hike on the Kumano Kodo! The Nonagase house belonged to the local Samurai clan and is being used as a guest house nowadays. So you get to stay in a place of historic charm. Nonetheless the guest house is quite comfortable and accommodating. The landlady aka manager Hitomi, alongside with her team, were splendid! To make the stay more easy for international guests, there are little notes left everywhere, which is truly endearing. In the back of the house there’s a beautiful beer garden which is open to passing hikers and guests alike. There you get the awesome-est bruschetta with home made goats cheese and all sorts of craft beer. Which brings me to the food: if you miss this, you will regret it! The owner of the guest house is Italian and the dinner was exquisite. Something you would never expect in the countryside of Wakayama. We would always come back to this place if we were to come to Chikatsuyu again.

Kamikura Shrine je 800 metrů daleko. the room was really comfy and cozy with basic amenities provided for you. the owner of the guesthouse was really friendly and helpful during the stay. do mind that she has to run a small shop selling Japanese snacks while having other heavy responsibilities. do support her.

My family and I liked how spacious, convenient and warm welcoming our host was! The location was few minutes walking distance to local restaurants and family mart. It was also approximately 8 minutes from Kumano Hayatama Taisha and in front of the bus stop heading towards to Nachi. Our host, Sasaki-san, was also kind to give us an introduction to the place along with offering free icecream, beer and sake! Overall we recommend this place!

Perfect stay, on my way on Kumano Kodo. This place is perfectly located to have a one-night stop between Takijiri and Hongu. Ike is a very welcoming host, and speaks very well English! He and his wife are two great cookers, as I had the chance to try their dinner/breakfast/luck box. I truly recommend! Thanks a lot! :)

Proximity to konbini, parking space right in front of the building. There was everything needed and it was very clean, like it was new.
